The Department of Medical Oncology provides systemic anticancer drug therapy for malignant tumors of nearly all sites, with the exception of all types of leukemia.

The department applies up-to-date treatment protocols, using both established and innovative anticancer agents, including monoclonal antibodies and bisphosphonates.

Treatment is provided within the framework of the state-funded healthcare program. Where the cost of treatment exceeds the amount covered by the state, the patient may be required to make a co-payment for the difference.
